Support the Keep Antibiotics Effective Act

The Illinois General Assembly will soon vote on the Keep Antibiotics Effective Act to ban the routine use of human antibiotics on animals that are not sick, which contributes to the rise of antibiotic resistance. It's time to stop this outdated and unnecessary practice.

Every year in the U.S. approximately 2 million people get sick with antibiotic-resistant infections and estimates suggest up to 160,000 people die.
